Chandrima, the soothing voice from the valleys of Assam came to the cultural cauldron of Kolkata in 2006. 
Her maiden Album release in 2006 “Sapnaneel” brought her recognition as an vocalist. Her next solo-album “Tribute to legends”, was released in 2010 under the auspices of the legendary Manna Dey himself. "Tribute to legend" relived some priceless nostalgias of Bengal, and has earned rave reviews.
From early days,Chandrima has made her niche as a performing artist taking her shows from various parts of Bengal to neighboring states and eventually  to the bigger platforms at the national level, standing shoulder to shoulder with singers like Vinod Rathore and Muhammad Aziz. 

She made her foray on the international arena for the first time, at the curtain raiser at Banga Bandhu International Convention Centre, Dhaka in 2008. Her elegance and panache was immediately noticed, and adequately rewarded by international organizers, when she was invited toLondon in  summer 2012. Her breezy performance in “London Boisakhi Bongo Mela 1419”  made inroads into the hearts of million Bengalees overseas. 
So well appreciated were her talents in UK, that she was soon taking part in live TV/radio shows in “Channel 9 UK” and “Betar Bangla”, London. She was soon back to London during autumn of 2012, for recreation of Bengal cultural dejavu  on bank of Thames during the auspicious Durga Puja festivals of the community.

Chandrima belongs to the IndianOil family and hence, have also performed live at various festivities of Indian oil Corporation at its several locations viz. Panipat, Mathura, New Delhi, Guwahati, and Haldia, including her special performances before honorable dignitaries of senior Govt authorities and other corporates.Apart from innumerable stage performances, she has made a notable career for herself with background scoring of many TV serials and jingles. 

Despite having such a life of glitz and razzmatazz, she has still grounded herself firm with humanity and humility, through her unequivocal services to the poor and downtrodden as a devoted member of Lions Club International.

Chandrima goes to London


Chandrima, the soothing voice from valleys of Assam severed her ties from cocoon to come to cultural hub at Kolkata in 2006. Her maiden Album release in 2006 “Sapnaneel” brought her recognition as an vocalist. Her next solo-album “Tribute to legends” rejuvenated some lost bengali melodies, more so, when 2010 launch was under His Master  Legend Manna De himself.
Chandrima with her equanimity was soon a performing artist taking her shows from various parts of the Bengal to neighbouring states and soon at national platform. Her stage wizcraft lifted the curtain raiser at Banga Bandhu International Convention Centre, Dhaka in 2008.


However the best of Chandrima was yet to come. Her stage craftmanship earned her a passage to London in  summer 2012. Invited for her performance in “London Bangamela Navabarsha 1419” she made inroads into the hearts of million Bengalese overseas. Her musical adventure took her to live TV show in “Channel 9 UK” and “Betar Bangla”, London.


For furtherance of her career she performs as stagecraft as well as background scoring of serials and jingles. But her real identity is humanity as she humbles work for other social causes in association with Lions Club International with humility.
